Tire Rotation / Balancing
For maximum safety and fuel efficiency, tires should be rotated and balanced every 6,000 miles. We rotate in a modified X pattern and remount them on your car using torque sticks to get the proper torque on your lug nuts. You should rotate your tires every other oil change so that they wear evenly on each position of your vehicle. This helps stem the tide of bad tire wear like cupping or chopping. If your tires are out of balance you will feel a shake in the steering wheel, and it will get worse the faster that you go.
